One of two sets, the fork in question disappeared after a squabble involving the water cooler.

While officials believe the fork disappeared with the assistance of one or more individuals, they have not ruled out the possiblity of being accidentally discarded or misplaced by its owner, Crystal.

Crystal denies any responsibility in the disappearance, and wants the fork to know that it is missed, stating "It is missed by the others in the set. I just want my fork back!"

There have been reported sightings of the fork in local back alleys and pickle barrels, but so far they remain unconfirmed.
